I am a maître assistant at the
philosophy
department of the University of Geneva, teaching courses and
seminars on logic, metaphysics, and early modern philosophy. I am a
member of the Genevan research group in metaphysics eidos. My research currently
focuses on metaphysics
(theories
of resemblance and similarity, metaphysics of properties, in particular
Nominalism, metaphysics of modality, Monism, and explanation, in
particular Principles of Sufficient Reason), philosophy of religion
(cosmological arguments and methodological issues in the theism/atheism
debate), and early modern
philosophy
(Spinoza, Principles of Sufficient Reason, mereology and theories of
properties in early modern rationalism). I completed a PhD at the University of
Geneva under the
supervision of
Kevin Mulligan (Geneva) and Gonzalo Rodriguez-Pereyra (Oriel College,
Oxford) in 2009. |
