TEXTS

We will read a selection of literary texts from a brochure available at TEX IMPRESSION NUMERIQUE, 1 Place St-Gervais, tel. 022 732 67 04.

ASSESSMENT

1. EXAMINATION: The assessment of this course is a written examination (4 hrs) on the course.

Students are permitted three attempts to pass the examination.

2. ATTESTATION: An attestation must be obtained in one BA seminar offered in medieval literature.

DEADLINES

Attestation papers are due three weeks before the beginning of an exam session.

Papers submitted after the deadline will be graded for the following session.

PRESENTATION OF WRITTEN WORK

All students must read the English Department Style Sheet (available on the departmental website and as a booklet from the English secretariat) and follow the instructions for the formal presentation of written work. Attestations that do not observe the Style Sheet will be returned for correction before they are graded. Note that this may mean that essays returned in this way will miss the deadline for the exam session.

All papers must be submitted in hard copy. Electronic (email) submission of papers is not permitted except in extraordinary circumstances and with the prior agreement of the professor.

ATTENDANCE

Any student who is absent more than three times will not be permitted to submit work for the course and seminar.
